FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

What is a giclée print?

A giclée is a fine art print created by using the most advanced inkjet printers. They are printed by large-format professional-grade printers with a wide range of colors. The print is made using archival quality pigmented ink as opposed to dyes. Our art is printed on an acid-free archival substrate, high-quality artist paper, or canvas. The wide range of colors and superior resolution creates a museum-quality image print that not only looks better but lasts longer.

Do you use archival inks and acid-free papers?

Yes. All of our inks are archival, and all of our printing papers are acid-free. Archival ink is designed to resist fading and weathering. It will endure for future enjoyment.

Do you use a UV protectant to protect your prints?

All framed prints, canvas prints,  and regular prints (rolled in a tube) receive a UV protective coating.  Acrylic prints, metal prints, and greeting cards do not receive a protective coating.

Will the logo appear on my prints?

No. Our watermark logo that you may see on some image previews will not appear on your prints. Our logo only appears on the larger images in our print shop pixels website in order to discourage image theft.
